A Fire disaster that struck the urban village of Murung Keraton, sub-district of Martapura Kota, Banjar Regency, on the last Wednesday (6th January 2016), immediately got attention of the Government of Banjar Regency.
Attention is manifested in the form of providing assistance to victims of a fire that has burned 35 houses. As for the assistance received by victims of a fire among others are rice, bedding, cooking oil, sugar, instant noodles, coffee, sardines, tea, etc.
The Secretary of Banjar Regency, H Nasrunsyah said assistance in the form of groceries directly delivered to the citizens of the fire victims. According to him, the assistance provided as a form of concern for others.
“We hope the assistance provided can be useful and able to lighten the burden of the people who are stricken, and may provide motivation for our brothers and sisters in order to rise again,” said Nasrunsyah. Thursday (7th January 2016) when submitted aid to fire victims in the office of urban village of Murung Keraton.
Abdul Razak, the sub-district head of Martapura Kota, conveyed to the fire victims to be resilient in facing the disaster. “Hopefully, people that affected are given the strength and fortitude in the face. This is a test from Allah SWT, we should be able to face all this with patience,” he said. He also asked to other citizens in order to help the fire victims.
According to him, the vulnerability of villagers residential fire on urban village of Murung Keraton, sub-district of Martapura Kota lately should be a concern. “In order to always be careful and turn off the stove when out of the house, so that a similar disaster is no longer the case,” said Razak.
The head of sub-district of Martapura Kota, Abdul Razak also explained because these fires have burned as many as 35 houses and 48 heads of family homeless. (tohal/roni/boma)
