Nowadays, Terrorism and Radicalism is becoming a hot topic in the citizen of
Banjar Regency. Hopely, it does not happen in South Kalimantan especially in
Banjar Regency. So that the citizen should be able to understand and prevent these
actions. Due to the impact of radicalism negatively affect the community.
Therefore, the Head of Department of National and Political Unity (Kesbangpol) of
Banjar Regency held a Socialization of the Implementation on Prevention of
Terrorism through the efforts Deradicalisation and Counter Radicalization,
Thursday (21/01), in the village chief’s house (Pambakal) Tambak Danau, District
of Astambul, Banjar Regency.
In front of the villagers, the Head of Kesbangpol Department of Banjar Regency
Syahda Mariadi said it is very necessary to convey the prevention of terrorism
through enhanced insight Talk Show, Seminars and Discussion. Therefore, it is
slowly trying to implement the Regulation of the Ministry of Home Affairs No. 12
of 2006.
The speakers presented in this meeting are from Kesbangpol of South Kalimantan
Province, Polres Banjar, and Kodim 1006 / Martapura. Various understanding and
explanation of radicalism and terrorism submitted by them, especially when the
bomb blasted in Thamrin, Jakarta.
Kunarso from Banjar police station (Polres Banjar) convey the material so that
people are always alert to new people who come to the Village Tambak Danau. At
least the local people know the origin of the new people. Society should be
obliged to maintain security and peace in the village in order to avoid
radicalism.
After all speakers explained various materials related to terrorism and
radicalism, then the inauguration of the Village Community Early Awareness Forum
(FKDM) was formed. Board which consists of Chairman confirmed HM Ridwan, Secretary
Arbain , Vice Secretary Ali Idham And Treasurer Maria Ulfah. Its members, Rusmani
S, Badarudin, H. Ahmad Baini, Jainal Abidin S, Zinnurain, Aspihani M Hambali and
H Fauzi.
If the Tambak Danau Village is safe, peaceful and conducive, it means that the
management of FKDM village has benefited the interests for the village. “That also
supports the duty and the role of Pambakal in creating peace in the village,” said
Syahda.
He believes the Regulation No. 12 of 2006 is beneficial to realize the Banjar
Regency peaceful and orderly. “FKDM formed definitely beneficial to the whole
villagers. At least FKDM would help Pambakal in his dutie,”he concluded. (Irwin /
