Martapura, Banjar again get a chance to prove themselves as the leading county in terms of cleanliness and preservation preserver in South Kalimantan. Martapura during recent years have been several times awarded adipura. Adipura Kencana Martapura had been accepted as the ultimate supremacy of the cleanliness of the city. This award is not an easy matter to achieve. Proven Banjar can only receive this award from all Regencies / cities in South Kalimantan. Thursday (23/6), Ministry of Environment and Forestry Life (KLHK) of Indonesia in Jakarta invites Banjar district (Martapura) as one of the nominees of the 12 districts / municipalities Adipura Paripurna award recipient in 2016.
Adipura Paripurna is the highest to districts / cities that qualify as a sustainable city, the city is expected not only able to complete a variety of environmental issues, but also is able to continue to innovate in the field of waste management and green space, control the impact of climate change, energy use renewable, as well as the decline in economic and social inequality based environmental management.
Banjar Regent H. Khalilurrahman accompanied by Secretary Banjar H. Nasrunsyah act as Chairman of the clean city Banjar Regency along with some heads of SKPD scope of Banjar regency in the Hall Manggala Wanabakti KLHK, have the first opportunity to present or expose programs – programs related to environmental issues. 1 hour 30 minutes, many of the questions put to them by the assessment team.
Presentation Adipura was witnessed and assessed by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of Indonesia Siti Nurbaya Bakar, the Advisory Council Verse, experts and practitioners in the field of waste management and in the field of Marketing, Echelon I and II scope KLHK, representatives from the Center for Environmental Studies universities, NGOs environmental issues and the media.
Therefore, the Regent of Banjar and staff expect full support and prayers of the entire community of Banjar Regency, so presumably Banjar Regency can return the name of South Kalimantan to achieve ultimate supremacy in the field of hygiene and the environment is, Adipura PAripurna.
