Dinkes Banjar with Ministry of Health RI held the socialization Society Movement Intelligent Use Drugs/Gerakan Masyarakat Cerdas Gunakan Obat (Gema Cermat) Banjar Regency in 2016 followed by 100 participants of Paramedics in the Banjar Regency at the Ballroom of Q Grand Dafam Syariah Banjarbaru, Tuesday (25/10).
This activity was attended by Regent Banjar H Khalilurrahman accompanied by the Chairman of TP PKK Banjar Regency Hj Raudatul Wardiyah, Kasubbid Farmakon Economy Ministry of Health RI Dara Amelia and Chairman of Antibiotic Resistance Reduction Committee (KPRA) Hari Paraton.
Dara Amelia said, in the community often encountered various problems of drug uses, e.g use of drugs inappropriately and lack of understanding of how to use, store and dispose of medications properly. Another issue is the use of antibiotics in the community. This is due to a lack of understanding of society and the wrong behavior in the use of drugs.
“To overcome all these problems, there should be education of the public. On November 13, 2015 to coincide with National Health Day, the Minister of Health has launched the Intelligent Community Movement Using Drugs (GeMaCerMat). This movement is a joint effort between the government and the community through a series of activities in order to create awareness, understanding and skills of people in using medications appropriately and correctly, “said Dara Amelia.
