Surabaya International Jewellery Fair 2016 is an exhibition of jewelry that was followed by various business sectors jewelry. The event was held in the Grand Ballroom of the Shangri-La Surabaya East Java from the date of October 27 to 30, 2016.
The opening ceremony on Thursday (27/10), beginning with the beating of gongs and cutting of the ribbon by the Vice Governor of East Java H SyaifullahYusup.
Opening of exhibition Surabaya International Jewellery Fair 2016, attended by the Director General of the Ministry of Trade IKM Authority Gatik Wibawa Ningsih, Vice Governor of East Java H Syaifullah Yusuf, Regent of Banjar H Khalilurrahman and his wife Hj Raudathul Wardiah, Vice-Chairman of the PKK Banjar Nur Gita Tiyas Saidi Mansyur, Head of Industry and Trade of Banjar Regency H.M Ramlan, as well as representatives of other Regional Heads in Indonesia.
On the sidelines of the opening of the exhibition, Regent Banjar H Khalilurrahman said, through a series of events Surabaya International Jewellery Fair 2016, he hope to gave the entrepreneurial spirit of the gemstones and jewelry craftsmen in Martapura.
“The Department of Trade and Industry Banjar can act as a driving force for small and medium enterprises in order to progress, resilient, self-reliant in the era of free markets,” he explained.
Surabaya International Jewellery Fair 2016 was attended by more than hundreds of jewelers and jewelery machinery showing the trend in 2017 and the latest products. There were 100 participants and 30 booths from Indonesia and participants from abroad.
The exhibition was held to provide an opportunity for manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers and suppliers of diamond, gold, silver, pearls, precious stones and accessories to assemble and build business relationships in Indonesia. (Yani)
