Forest fires have become one of the problems were considered to be very disturbing in the region of South Kalimantan. Responding to this, the Government of South Kalimantan Province in cooperation with Korem 101 / Antasari and Disaster Management Agency of Indonesia, jointly formulate countermeasures disasters that often hit South Kalimantan. This event Submission Command Operations by Korem 101 / Antasari Kolonel Kav Yanuar Adil, taking place at Idham Khalid South Kalimantan Provincial Government building, Tuesday (6/9).
Presented at this event the commander of Kodam/VI Mulawarman Mayjen Jonny L Tobing, Deputy BNPB RI, South Kalimantan Governor H Sahbirin Noor and the entire Regional Head in South Kalimantan and the entire leadership of Regional Operations, in which the area of operation itself was led by Commander of Kodim or head of police officer in each region.
In his explanation, Yanuar Adil told we can work hand-in-hand in tackling the problem of forest and land fires (Karhutla) that often occurs in South Kalimantan.
He emphasized to the leaders of their respective operating areas, can seriously carry out the task by continuing to follow the prescribed rules. Expected more, the device area is also designated as the executor of this program, always coordinated and expected to produce the maximum performance and really give a sense of security and comfort to the public.
BARA’s own implementation of operations conducted from August 15 untill November 15, 2016, by which time it is expected that the executive operations can be seriously respond to this discourse, so as to obtain maximum results.
Regent Banjar H Khalilurrahman who was also attended the event, expressed happy with the discourse that the major project by the South Kalimantan provincial government along with Korem 101 / Antasari. He expected that in the future Banjar Regency can truly be free from peat fires and smoke problems which of course is very detrimental to the health and comfort of people in running their daily activities.
