Archival is obligatory functions of government, be it in National, Provincial, Regencies / Cities or village level. Seeing the importance of archives and follow up the mandate of a law on archives, Office of Library, Archives and Documentation (KPAD) Banjar Regency held a socialization of Law No. 43 Year 2009 About Archival for Reform of Civil State (ASN) of SKPD / BUMD Scope of Government Banjar Regency in Barakat hall, Wednesday (28/9).
Regent Banjar H Khalilurrahman who represented by the Regional Secretary Banjar H Nasrunsyah in his written speech delivered, the importance of managing archives. This is because the archive can become the nation’s identity and accountability to the public at the same ingredients. He also noted that through the archive can also be inherited various results and historical facts of life to future generations.
“Furthermore, he hoped that all participants know the basic rules of law on the management of archives and follow up in the daily activities so as to improve service excellence in each SKPD’s and a growing awareness of the importance of archives as well as motivation in doing documentation or archiving is good and right , “he hoped.
Then at the end of his speech, Secretary Banjar emphasize to all participants to take advantage of this event with the best in enhancing the ability of archives which will support the realization of the orderly administration in good governance.
Participants socialization archives in Banjar regency government environment, attended by approximately 50 people. Resource persons came from the Regional Library (Perpustarda) South Kalimantan Province, KPADs Banjar regency and Banjar Regional Secretariat of Organization. The material they delivered about the introduction of archival, management of mail and file structuring, depreciation and destruction of records and the official scripts. (Sadi)
