IMG_7509Bumi Serambi Mekkah is a nickname for the city Martapura, Banjar Regency. This is because the Banjar itself has delivered many Ulama of Islam and Islamic culture at the center of development so that the main attraction for the Muslim community to visit and direct knowledge of the development of Islam in Kalimantan.

And this time, Saturday (7/5), turn the Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) H Imam Nahrawi who come directly visit the city of the Serambi Mekkah, to see firsthand the implementation of the National Event “Mengaji Nusantara”. Event held in connection with the reading of Scripture Al’Quran simultaneously at 19:30 pm by the entire Muslim community in Indonesia from Sabang to Merauke.

Hearing the news, the Regent of Banjar Regency H Khalilurrahman welcomed the arrival of the Minister of Youth and Sports in his residence Mahligai Sultan Adam in Martapura. On this occasion the Regent Banjar not forget to say gratitude to the group of the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia H Imam Nahrawi, because it has deigned to come to the Banjar to see firsthand the implementation of the it. With the arrival of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Regent Banjar hopes the public will more courage in developing symbols of Islam in Banjar Regency.

Seeing the warm welcome of the Parties to the Government and people of Banjar Regency, Youth and Sports Minister H.Imam Nahrawi grateful to be able to visit as well Assigned to Banjar district. For that he advised the public to always strengthen the Banjar district Islamic knowledge by studying the meanings tekandung in every verse of the Al’Quran. Because by studying the Koran, is born generation of Muslims intelligent and noble that will provide benefits for the nation of Indonesia.
