Jakarta, Friday (9/9) – Through the momentum of the National Sports Day which commemorated every September 9, the Ministry of Youth and Sports invite all the people of Indonesia to rekindling the spirit of sports at all levels of society to create a Indonesia healthy and productive.
This was conveyed by Minister of Youth and Sports, Imam Nahrawi in a speech at the National Sports Day Peak (Haornas) XXXIII in 2016, which was attended by Vice President Jusuf Kalla, at Stadium Gelora Delta Sidoarjo, East Java.
“Haornas is a very important moment for the sport in Indonesia, as well as the right momentum to fuel the development of sport through familiarization exercise and sports performance improvement,” says Minister.
According to Imam, by encouraging the Sports Recreation and Sports Education, Indonesia can enlarge the bases of potential candidates and talented sportsmen to strengthen the foundation of building a competitive national sports.
“Culture sports can not grow in an instant, but must go through the process gradually and continuously, starting from the smallest neighborhood to the larger community. Therefore, it is indispensable role of the family by applying an active lifestyle in their daily activities, “added the Minister that among young people familiar with the term Cak Imam.
According to Cak Imam, in accordance with the government policy through Nawacita President Joko Widodo who want to improve the quality of Indonesian human life that is healthy and productive, the theme of Haornas XXXIII in 2016 was, “Lets do Sports for Indonesia Healthy and Productive.”
“Through this theme, I invite all levels of society can unite and work together to rekindling” Come Sports Movement “that the sport into the culture and lifestyle of people in the city and in the village,” pleaded Cak Imam.
With sport as the needs and lifestyle, according to him, would indirectly open a wide space for the emergence of the seeds of potential sportsmen who excel for further fostered and developed with the support of Sport Science, an athlete-elite athletes who excel at the international level to achieve medals in Olympic and Red and White flag waving in front of the public abroad.
