Regent Banjar H Khalilurrahman accompanied by Chairman of TP PKK Banjar Hj Raudatul Wardiyah and officials of SKPD’s Banjar, as well as from the TNI, Polri, Green Community Forum (FKH), hundreds of residents and tourism actors to implement the Sapta Pesona Action and clean-up in the area of Religi Tourism of Syekhh Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari (Datu Kalampayan) graveyard, Saturday (3/9) at the village of Kalampayan Sub-district of Astambul.
The activity was organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism of South Kalimantan Province in collaboration with the Banjar Government through the Department of Tourism Culture Youth and Sports of Banjar Regency.
H Khalilurrahman in his speech expressed thanks and appreciation to the Provincial Government of South Kalimantan on the election of Banjar Regency as one of two Regencies in South Kalimantan Province became the location of Sapta Pesona Greening Action and receives support tourism facilities for the development graveyard area tomb of of Syekh Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari as the leading tourism destination in South Kalimantan.
He appealed to all sections of society, including government, private and public to raise awareness and sense of responsibility in order to realize the seven elements contained in Sapta Pesona, which would then be able to encourage the growth and development of the tourism industry in South Kalimantan in general and the area of ??our beloved Banjar Regency,” he said.
As for the occasion symbolically handed by the Regent Banjar the tourism facilities that support clean-up equipment such as, broom, dustpan and garbage bins, to the Head of Astambul Sub-district, Pambakal, Travel Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) and community leaders.
