A total of 146 members PGRI (Indonesian Teachers Association) representative of all sub-district of Banjar Banjar regency which followed the Conference PGRI Banjar, in the Hall of Barakat, Martapura (16/1), finally chose HM Arsyad as Chairman of PGRI Banjar 2015-2020 period through a procession election directly. PGRI chairman election procession lasted until late afternoon chaired by the PGRI Chairman of South Kalimantan province HM Hatta HS, while inaugurating the new management.
Acting Regent of Banjar Regency who represented by the Head of Education Department of Banjar Regency H Gt Ruspan Noor who officially opened the Conference PGRI said, as a forum for teachers, PGRI has an important role and strategic, which is expected to be a shelter, distribute and promote the aspirations of members, as well as a vehicle self and professional development of teachers.
Ruspan expect, that the members of PGRI can continue to improve service in advancing education in Banjar Regency. “To advance the nation certainly needed a quality of education. To create quality education needed the professional teachers, prosperous, secure and dignified, “said Ruspan.
The new chairman of PGRI, HM Arsyad revealed has prepared various programs to improve the quality of education in Banjar Regency forward. In addition to various strategic programs related to improving the quality of teachers, Arsyad also hope intertwining between activists of education, especially PGRI with Regent and Vice Regent of Banjar Regency newly elected.
“Insya Allah, hopefully I can carry this mandate as chairman of PGRI to build the world of education into a better direction, especially in the Banjar Regency,” he said.
Touched related PGRI of Banjar Regency programs forward, Arsyad claims still consolidating and coordinating with the managers of the newly formed. “Because of the newly formed management PGRI. Surely we prepare new phase of consolidation with other officials, “said Arsyad.
