Vice Regent of Banjar Regency was accompanied by the Secretary of Banjar Regency H Nasrunsyah, Head of BLH Banjar H Farid Soufian, Head of Public Relations of Secretariat of Banjar Regency (Humas) Rahmaddin MY and the Head of Sub-District of Martapura Kota City, Abdul Razaq. He explained that at the beginning, it has a function only as a final waste processing, gradually began optimized by the Department of Housing and Settlement (Disperkim) of Banjar ranging from making bank trash, waste sorting organic and non-organic, making crafts with utilization garbage or 3R, composting, and utilizing waste into methane gas capable of supplying gas into two villages around the area of the landfill.
“The facilities at this landfill is almost complete, we have a recycle hangar, weighbridge, sanitary Landfill, bio filter pond, and green house that make a beautiful impression in this landfill. Even recently we’ve been build a sludge treatment installation (Pengolahan Lumpur Tinja (IPLT)) which will be very use ul for environmental management in our region, “said Boyke.
Meanwhile, Vice Regent of Banjar H Saidi Mansyur was very impressed with the development and management of Cahaya Kencana landfill. According to him, TPA Cahaya Kencana is one of the best development and innovation that has been done by the local government.
